This chip-timed 5K run on a USATF-certified cross country (natural grass) course offers age group awards and a cash prize (gift certificate) for the overall male and female winners. The 3K walk is on paved paths through the park. All participants receive a t-shirt and race bag and will have the opportunity to win raffle prizes. Proceeds benefit Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and Feed My Starving Children.
The sixth annual Gratitude & Grace Race will be held on Saturday, July 29th, at Lisle Community Park. The electronically-timed 5K run is on a grass course that follows the Lisle High School cross country course
(click to view course map) through this scenic park, going around ponds, crossing bridges, and traversing a hill before finishing next to a shelter where an assortment of breakfast foods and drinks will be available. Age group awards will be given, along with a cash prize (gift certificate) for the overall male and female winners. All participants will receive race bags and a t-shirt.
